When you find out your friends are having a baby what is your automatic reaction?

Are you the drop everything and do a happy dance type with zero chill? Are you the type who quietly drops their jaw in shock and patiently waits for more details? I guess for everyone and every situation it's different just like everyone's journey is different. Drake and Emily are pretty close friends of mine and they dropped this little nugget of information on me while with a huge group of friends. It was the best. I definitely didn't do a giddy dance by myself that day that's for sure. I can't help it now. Maybe for me after experiencing motherhood, I just about lose my cool when I find out when a friend is pregnant. I think of all the magical things to come for them and it's too much excitement to contain.

Drake and Emily are truly some of the sweetest people I know. They are the kind of people that you can just tell will create a little world changer. Emily is an incredible entrepreneur and business owner GO SEE! She does custom watercolor art and invites. She is insanely talented on so many different art mediums, though. She has the kindest and gentlest spirit I know and just being around her you feel at home. To me, she's been a friend that no matter how long we go in between talking (sometimes WAY too long in my opinion) I always feel like we picked up exactly where we left off. She's always the person that I can talk to and never feel judged. She's the kind of woman you want on your side and who will gracefully listen to you and your crazy dreams. I cherish my time with her so deeply. I'm going to just lose it when little mister is born. I think motherhood is going to compliment her beautiful soul in the most astonishing way (I mean just look at her right now.)

Drake is the loud and lovable spirit that loves Emily so much and I love him for that. He has a passion for athletes and guiding them to see their full capabilities in life. Honestly, you guys, if you don't know him he's a big teddy bear. THIS STUFF IS COOL! He's so intentional when he talks to people and he's the kind of guy who is always rooting you on. Watching this guy become a dad might actually melt me into a puddle. He was born to be dad to a son.
