San Diego Family Skate Sesh
A fun little San Diego spring skate sesh for the family. The charcoal grill was fired up and the vibes were good. Such a rad photo session with this family of 3.

Read MoreWe’re all feeling it in some way, right? The overwhelming loom of Coronavirus news or for the more prestigious bunch - COVID-19 (whatever you call it, you’re all welcome here, I don’t discriminate). Things are thrown at you left and right all day long unless you shut off all connections to the outside world - which if we’re being honest is pretty hard to do, though sometimes necessary.
If you’re reading this - you haven’t done that quite yet but I’m stoked because that means you’re about to read some good vibes in this shit-storm. There, I said it.
Read MoreHow sweet it is to document the sweetness before baby enters this world. Maternity sessions are one of my favorites to shoot. It embodies how beautiful and powerful a woman’s body is. It captures the peace and wonder (and all 234,554 other emotions) that happen during pregnancy.
When we took these photos, Nick and Jenora were expecting their first little one, a boy named Theodore. We met at Marian Bear Park for these photos in June (I was 39 weeks pregnant!) and Jenora was due in July. It was my first time meeting these two and I was so incredibly in awe with how sweet they were. They are so cute together. They brought such a strong peaceful vibe to this session and after we started talking, I started to get a sense of how excited they were to meet their son. I could tell already they were going to be amazing parents.
This session was so sweet and what a great way to document the wait for Mr. Theodore. Stay tuned to see that precious little face.
Last year in October I pulled together the 2nd annual Mama + Me Mini Sessions for Breast Cancer awareness. I’ve prayed over this day. I spent countless hours planning, emailing, brainstorming...this vision that sparked back when I had a Mohawk (circa 2015?!) and now looking back on my second annual official Mama + Me Sessions I’m so proud of the direction it’s going. So grateful to have talented and creative minds on board to make this day so special for all you mamas out there. So grateful to the local and small businesses who supported this vision, contributed, and believed in me. 👐🏼

Read MoreIt seems like in-home sessions are hitting a major trend these days and I’m not mad about it one bit. Generally speaking, your home is where you are the most comfortable and yourself. It’s easier to relax and it shows a side of you that sometimes isn’t easy to find in outdoor sessions. There’s character and warmth and so much intentionality behind doing a shoot in your home. (Don’t worry, I know how hard you worked to get that home clean for photo-worthiness).
Read MoreI live for these colors and these down-to-earth vibes. Endless amounts of green and bright, popping sunflowers, blue skies, thick white clouds, dark grey storms, pinks, purples, reds, and orange painted sunsets. It's a little slice of nostalgic heaven for me.

Read MoreYeah, new places and cities and countries are cool, but my heart soars when I get quality time with my favorite people. I would rather take 1,000 trips to the same city with my dearest friends than visit countless different cities alone.
