Have I mentioned I love it so much more when the client picks out the location to have our session at? There's always more meaning behind it. When the client chooses the location, there's a vision in place and I get to work together with them to bring it to life. When I talked to Brittany about what she was thinking for the engagement session she explained that they were the kind of couple who likes to have fun and do things. They love doing brunch, riding bikes, going places, exploring their neighborhood...and that's pretty much what we did. Why not have some fun and be comfortable when you're getting photos done? Make yourself at home during your own engagement shoot, you won't regret it.

We explored some go-to spots for them in their neighborhood and it was really fun. I loved that they were familiar with the area and they got to show me around a little bit. The best part, in my opinion was the pier - the breeze was a little crisp and the clouds came and went making it perfect for some warm-me-up cuddles. The crowds cleared and basically gave us the whole pier to ourselves at one point too - midday on a Sunday! Needless to say, I think Brittany and Jesse nailed it just being themselves laughing a bit, playing a bit, and scoping the water for sharks.
