From here on out, forever and always I declare that the best way to wrap up summer is to share some of the best cocktails in town and then go on an adventure.

That’s what these two decided to do and gosh I love it when my clients have the coolest ideas. Hannah and Hart did a “his & hers” engagement shoot starting with the ever-so-yummy craft cocktails from Polite Provisions and sliders from Soda and Swine. Hart had loved the idea of coming to grab some drinks and photos first at this little retro, apothecary-esque bar and Hannah was seriously crushing on some cactus/desert vibes for their engagement photos. So, we just did it all and it was seriously the best way to say good-bye to summer. (I’m one of those “It’s September, so it must be fall, which means it’s basically Halloween,” types of people).

Not only was this session so fun, but it was uniquely special to Hannah and Hart. They are frequent patrons of this local favorite spot, foodie’s and love to explore neighborhoods and try out new food and drinks. Their wedding is also not exactly going to be a party…it’s going to be a FIESTA! Full of color, hand crafted details and lots of catci. What an incredible afternoon hanging out and celebrating these beautiful moments life brings to us. 

Hannah and Hart, I know your chapter is ending here in San Diego, and while I’m sad you won’t be here to meet me for a yummy cocktail or an adventure through a cactus garden I can’t wait to see you two flourish in the place you both grew up and so close to all your family. October is almost here and I’m so ready to party with you! #fiestahurtado
